The NY Times #1 Best-Selling Children’s Book Series!

What happens when an entire kingdom’s fate depends on the courage and imagination of
two kids? Based on Mary Pope Osborne’s beloved series of children’s books, MAGIC TREE HOUSE®: THE MUSICAL transports Jack and Annie’s adventures onto the stage to create a theatrical event for the entire family. To restore joy and magic to King Arthur’s kingdom, the brother and sister team must travel to Camelot’s dreaded Otherworld and return with water from the mythical Cauldron of Memory and Imagination. If they fail, Camelot will be lost and forgotten forever — and the Magic Tree House will be destroyed! Rising to each new challenge with courage, humor, and resourcefulness, Jack and Annie discover that memory and imagination are gifts we can all use to fill our lives with magic. An enchanting blend of song, story, and stagecraft, MAGIC TREE HOUSE®: THE MUSICAL is a breathtaking spectacle that will keep kids (and grownups!) on the edge of their seats.

“Reading and writing are about the magic of the imagination. This musical, in my opinion, multiplies that magic ten times.” —Mary Pope Osborne

“They’re the best. There’s no one like them, no one in their league.”
– Larry King, CNN

Over twenty-five years ago, the Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. In the years that followed, many of the Steps ignored the conventional wisdom (“Don’t quit your day job!), and although not all of the current members of the Steps are former Capitol Hill staffers, taken together the performers have worked in a total of eighteen Congressional offices and represent 62 years of collective House and Senate staff experience.

Sinbad
Saturday, November 1st at 8pm

Sinbad never tells jokes- “I don’t know any,” he admits-but rather stalks the stage, telling real-life stories. He doesn’t deliver payoff lines; he slam-dunks them. His comedy is large, physical, and impetuous. Psychologically, he jams us, poking holes in our lifestyles. His stories mirror our foibles. His is the explosive energy of the neighborhood; his phrasing is manic, musical and right on time. He doesn’t write his material; he relives it as he remembers it.
